Rynex's had a live-in servant, Zach Lewis. Present house is church parsonage: Rev. Harold B. Wright II, by 1988-c1990; Rev Carolyn Swift, c1990-present.

Frederick "Buddy" Wilkerson had been a prisoner of war in World War II. He survived a death march and was held in two different German prisons during 1943-1944. The front door knocker was a gift to him from a fellow prisoner of war.

Remarks Edward Hogan built the 3-car garage on site to store pre-cut house parts shipped here by rail. Dr. Hogan did most of the house construction and assembly himself.
