Remarks J T Harrison was father-in-law of James McCathran. The latter moved the house from Lot 11 of Sixth Avenue in 1906. Original house had front room, two rooms & pantry in rear, small second-story room above front room. Soon after move, 1 1/2 story addition built on living room, wrap-around porch built on front of house. Converted to year-round residence in 1955. Building permit 36156 issued 13 December 1971. Appears in assessment records as Lots 10 & 11 Block 26. James McCathran was an early leader in tree preservation in the Grove. He also designed the house numbering system adopted by the Town, 1935. He was the father of LeRoy McCathran.

Remarks Moved to site in 1905, according to oral tradition. J H Wilson had cottage on old Lot 11 by March 1904, however no stock issued for him at this location. Oscar Lancaster was a Washington patent attorney. He had one of the largest collections in the country of fore-edge painted books. Andrew Sonner, a former high school teacher, became State's Attorney. Addition dates from 1974. Building permit 093749 issued 18 September 1978.
