Remarks Original 1939 cottage is front section which was originally one large room and bathroom. In 1951, an addition was constructed with living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry and bedrooms. A carport and master bathroom were built in 1966. Alfred grew up in the Grove, living at 13 the Circle and 417 Fourth Avenue. He worked for the Foreign Economic Admin., 1941-3, and passed the D.C. Bar in 1946. House on Lot 4?
